I am honored to join with you on your experiential journey towards enlightenment, strength-building, and tranquility!  I provide support with a clinical and holistic lens towards wellness (in the direction in which your values guide).  My goal is to forge a therapeutic alliance with you, understand your challenges, and establish appropriate treatment goals individualized to your specific needs.  I strive to assure that diversity and cultural norms are considered throughout my treatment efforts.  In addition, I provide clinical supervision and training.

As a graduate from CUNY Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work in 2015, I obtained my clinical license shortly after in the state of New York.  Additionally, I hold dual licensures in both the state of NY and Colorado.  I continue to focus on expanding my knowledge of holistic and evidence-based practices while staying current with treatment approaches with statistically proven positive results.

My professional passion has always been in the field of mental health, specifically, clinical therapy.  I have offered and provided support to an array of populations including early/late teens into adulthood addressing a multitude of challenges amplified by anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and dysregulated mood disorders.  I view challenges and barriers to be experienced differently along a spectrum line for each individual, and I offer supportive guidance in accordance with the individual’s needs.

Framework and Therapeutic Approach:

Jenny Carmona-Padilla specializes in numerous evidence-based therapeutic approaches as appropriate to the individual's needs including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology.  In addition, Jenny offers Wellness Coaching and Clinical Supervision.

Regardless of her role, Jenny strives to assure that diversity and cultural norms are considered throughout her treatment efforts.  Additionally, Jenny is mindful to consider “the bigger picture:” medical and physical health, diet, sleep habits, and micro and macro-level environment.

Throughout the therapeutic alliance, Jenny will encourage you to challenge yourself, your perception, and behaviors; assess level of functioning and additional ways to explore potential solutions. Jenny will encourage you to build upon your already established strengths while adding an array of skills, principles, and techniques meant to improve your knowledge and experiences.
